Introduction
I have created a one page website which is an electronic
representation of my resume. It shows my literary skills, my educational
details, contact information, objective statement, summary statement and
employment history (if any). I have applied all the concepts I have learned in
the classes during lectures as per my understanding and their guidelines.
Objective
The main objective of making this E-portfolio
is to portray my caliber and qualifications using electronic methods. I have
provided my CV to the website where one will get to know that I have done my
high school from Husi, Romania in theoretical branch, mathematics and computer
science. I have worked as a sales administrator in December for four years (2007-2012)
and later worked as management consultant in Dave and nicoleta ltd for a year.
Currently I am a student at university of Roehampton, London, UK. I am looking
for a job preferably as Account Manager. My target audiences for this website
will be my tutors who will judge me on the basis of my work and the employers
through whom I will get benefitted for further better employment opportunities.
I have made use of Wix editor to create an e-portfolio
about myself which will be helpful from employment point of view. This
portfolio is created keeping the tutors and prospective employers in mind.My e-portfolio includes my picture, basic contact
information (name, address, email and phone number etc.). This includes my
educational and other skills, my educational qualifications and achievements. I
have included links / images / thumbnails of my relevant projects.I have designed graphics in Photoshop and depicted how to
optimize the Photoshop work into PNG (image) file type. I have used illustrator
component of adobe Photoshop to design a communicative sort of logo which will
give a tint of beauty to the website design.

Methodology
I have studied several matters from the internet for how
to make the design look good for my portfolio. I have used the alignment,
proximity, contrast and repetition features of Wix editor. I have made use of
adobe Photoshop version 6 and used its several features and components to implement
required graphics images. I have searched several templates for the designing
purpose and included one of them for the background. At gallery section, on
mouse hover at corners, sliding images are displayed.
Critical analysis
In this assignment I have created an E-portfolio of
myself using wix editor where I have made home page, about us page, gallery
page, CV page and video page and a contact us page for now. I have chosen a
template first and adjusted the theme background for the website. After that I
have set the fonts and make pages and add up good content for them. I have used
adobe Photoshop 6 for making the graphical images and convert them into
required and appropriate file type. A logo has been created using illustrator
component of adobe Photoshop and have tried to make it distinctive from other
logos of the websites. The efforts have been made to makeup the logo and in
photo shopped images as it requires a lot of time, concentration and
dedication. Next I have prepared the video page in which I have thoroughly
demonstrated the usage and technique of creating photo shopped images. We have
used the BSR software for making this video. There is a link where on clicking
you will navigate to a CV page of mine where my academic qualifications and
skills are mentioned. As of now I have done this much work but wanted to make
more pages like my areas of interest, future objectives and goals my hobbies
and skills other than academics.
For future enhancements I am going to add up more images
to the website along with content, will create more images using Photoshop and
get the better understanding of designing tools and their principles. Only
basic knowledge of illustrator I have grabbed while working so want to know
more about it in further work. I will also add up new subpages like
professionals, work experience, salary growth, and expectations and so on. In video section I will come up with more
videos but limited one as of now just to get acquainted with the BSR software
of how to make the videos using such tools. I will further give it a more
professional touch to my website for future employment as per my understanding
and knowledge gained in classroom lectures and to gain marks from the tutors. In future I will also add up links which may
lead to navigate you further pages of my technical projects and other details
(if any).
Conclusion
After conducting the whole assignment and website
designing I have gained a large amount of knowledge and got the chance to
enhance my skills. I have got an idea of how to work with the adobe Photoshop,
BSR software and Wix editor tool. I have understood the concepts of web
designing and its principles. We have gained the knowledge of effective usage
of graphical images. I will be able to make appropriate designs according to
standard design methodologies. I have applied the principles for usability and
customer centric approach. The website or e-portfolio looks pleasant to eyes
and it subtle and decent. I have incorporated an apt content to the website
which will help in future employment. I have understood the concepts like
linking images, navigation, and thumbnails to preview images. Good graphics work
has been achieved while working on E-portfolio.
The crux is that I have learnt various things from the designing and
development point of view, identified several components regarding designing
tools and accomplished a successful completion of this E-portfolio task.
